Returns — Non-Perishable Items Only
Returns are only accepted on non-perishable items that are sealed and unopened, within the applicable return window. Items that have been opened, used, or are perishable in nature are not eligible for return under any circumstances.
Eligible — Sealed, unopened, no longer wanted
If you no longer want an item, we will accept the return provided it is completely sealed, unopened, and in its original undamaged packaging — returned within the applicable window below.
Not Accepted — Opened items
Once a non-perishable item has been opened or the seal broken, we cannot accept a return for that item.
Restocking & Return Shipping Fee: Significantly heavy items may be subject to a return shipping fee and a restocking fee upon return. These charges are assessed based on the item’s weight and will be communicated to you before your return is processed.
Return windows are counted from the date of delivery. Items must be postmarked by the last day of the applicable window.
Perishable Items — MREs & Food Products
All perishable sales are final. We are unable to accept returned food items for safety and quality control reasons.
However, if your perishable order arrives damaged, broken, or significantly different from what was described, you are entitled to a full refund — provided you contact us within 14 days of delivery. See the Refund Policy section below for full details.
Outside of those specific conditions, no refunds or returns will be issued on perishable items.
Refund Policy — All Items
Regardless of whether an item is perishable or not, you are entitled to a full refund in the following situations:
Damaged or Broken
Item arrived damaged or defective. Full refund issued. Photo evidence may be requested.
Not As Advertised
Item significantly differs from its product listing or description. Full refund issued for all items.
Lost in Transit
Order confirmed lost by carrier. Full refund issued once the loss is confirmed with the carrier.
Perishable items (MREs & food): Damage or defect claims must be submitted within 14 days of delivery. After 14 days we cannot guarantee a refund on perishable products.
Delivery Disputes
Lost in Transit
If the carrier confirms your order was lost before delivery, you will receive a full refund automatically. No investigation needed.
Marked Delivered, Not Received
If tracking shows “Delivered” but you haven’t received your order, we will investigate on a case-by-case basis. This may involve working with the carrier and reviewing delivery confirmation details. Please contact us within 7 days of the marked delivery date.
Shipping Insurance
For added peace of mind, Revival Trail offers optional shipping insurance at checkout. When your order is covered by insurance:
- Eligible for a refund in most cases — no lengthy investigation required
- Claims are processed quickly, typically within 1–3 business days
- Covers lost, stolen, and damaged shipments
- Applies to both perishable and non-perishable items
Shipping insurance is available as an add-on at checkout. We strongly recommend it for high-value orders or deliveries to remote locations.
